Southern Luzon Technological College Foundation Inc., in collaboration with its Supreme Student Council, celebrated the 2024 International Women’s Month on March 14, 2024, at Pacific Mall Legazpi Event Center. This meaningful event commemorated the remarkable achievements, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women to our society and nation-building efforts. The event was attended by students, faculty, and administrative staff of the institution under the leadership of SLTCFI President/CEO, Rosemarie Quinto-Rey. The presence of the Resource Speaker, Ms. Maria Fatima G. Empig, the Trade and Industry Development Specialist of DTI Albay, further enriched the event, as she highlighted the strengths and capabilities of women and emphasized the importance of fostering an inclusive and equitable society. Additionally, SLTCFI extends its gratitude to Mr. Jefferson B. Romero, a Zumba Instructor and Fitness Coach, for leading the energetic Zumba session at the event. Furthermore, the oath-taking ceremony of the newly-elected Supreme Student Council officers for the academic year 2023-2024 was conducted. This ceremony symbolized their commitment to service, leadership, and advocacy within the SLTCFI community.
