We are thrilled to announce that Southern Luzon Technological College Foundation Inc. has officially signed the Hero Implementation Partnership Agreement with United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Education Development Center (EDC), last July 12, 2023, at SLTCFI Main Campus, Legazpi City.
Under the USAID Opportunity 2.0 Program, the Higher-level Education or Training Readiness Orientation (HERO) project aims to empower Filipino Out-of-School Youths (OSYs) by 2025, enhancing their education, employment, and livelihood outcomes.
We are honored to collaborate with esteemed organizations such as Bicol University (BU), the Department of Education, TESDA, Youth Development Alliance-Legazpi, and the Local Government Unit of Legazpi City to ensure the success of this initiative.
During the signing event, we are privileged to have the presence of Mr. Carlo Fernando - USAID Opportunity 2.0 Lead Higher Education Coordinator, Mr. Eduardo Thaddeus Livica Jr. - NSTP Director of Bicol University, Mr. Glen Nacion - ALS Focal Person, Division Office of Legazpi City, Ms. Lydia B. Lozano - VP for Academic Affairs, and Ms. Rosemarie Quinto-Rey - President/CEO of Southern Luzon Technological College Foundation Inc.
